Well she goes by Beth and she and I have known each other since our freshman year of high school. I did tryouts at the end of my freshman year for colorguard and Beth was already on the team. I made the team and then Beth had to see more of me than she probably wanted. Oh how I love Beth! She listens to me even when Sean and my sister have run screaming. And she always has great advice at the end, even if I don’t want to hear it. I’m very glad Beth will be coming all the way from Hawaii to ‘sit’ as a bridesmaid.
Beth graduated high school and went on to Brazosport College. From there she transfered to Texas State University (Go! Bobcats!) to earn a Bachelor of Science in Math with a minor in Anthropology. During her last year at school her high school sweetheart Adam proposed. They were married in August of 2003 in our hometown. They went on to live in Mississippi before being transfered to Hawaii. Her husband Adam is in the U.S. Navy and I have know him since I was in junior high school. Adam and Beth have also joined the ranks of parenthood. In February of 2006 they had a beautiful little girl of which they named Hazel Elaine. She’s an adorable handful and will be standing in our wedding as our flower girl. Beth is currently a full-time mom, wife and life coach (Well I should note the life coach bit is in regards to me only. I gave her that title. If you ask her I’m sure she’ll tell you she spends many an hour on the phone ‘coaching’ me through life).
