We’ve adopted

Well I know that’s a bit of a surprise, since I haven’t posted in a while, but we’ve been very busy and quite overwhelmed. So about a week ago we decided our lives were missing something and while we were in San Antonio we stopped in to the San Antonio Great Dane Rescue. Yes I’m talking dogs not kids, what are you people crazy. :) Anyway we fell in love and the rest is history. They are doing really well and we can’t wait for friends and family to meet them. I will catch up with posting soon enough but for now meet our new additions, (more…)

I just thought I’d share the beautiful sunflowers that have popped open in our garden. They are almost eight feet tall and are so beautiful in the evening and morning sun. I have to admit that gardening is one of my most favorite things about owning a home.

Goodbye, Hello

Well after 7 plus years of faithful service my Bessie is finally leaving us. I’m sure Carmax will fix her up and find a good home for her. I bought her in late 2003, for a good deal. It was my first taste of negotiation and bargaining. Needless to say I was hooked after that. :) We turned Bessie and her keys over last night. Here is my final snapshot with my girl.

So I’ve know for a bit, but I had to wait to tell you all because it was only the right thing to do. So whats the news… JENNY IS EXPECTING!!! Yea!! We are so very happy for her and Chauncey and can’t wait to meet the little guy. Yep, I said guy. They know its a boy! I was tickled, as I’m ready to break out the boy colors. They’re coming for dinner this Wednesday so I’ll make sure and get some photos! I just wanted to let you all know. :-) Yea for babies!
