One of the things I love most about Austin is all the music… I love it even more when I can sit out on a patch of grass not 100 feet from a band in my lawn chair. It makes me feel like they’re playing in my back yard. Tonight we went to South Park Meadows, a huge shopping complex that has tons of local and non-local shopping and eats. We went to what they call ‘The Grove,’ which is a nice outdoor pavilion. They have a live band every Saturday the month of May and its free to join in, and tonight was The Eggmen. They’re a Beatles cover band. It was a very nice evening, and the weather cooperated beautifully. 
This is at sunset about twenty minutes before they started. Normally they have the fountain spraying everywhere and kids running through it. Its a great place to bring the whole family. It also helps that there is local grub and Amy’s Ice Cream, even if I can only have the frozen yogurt.
