Accident Prone

I know that scientists have said many a time that being accident prone isn’t a real thing, but when it comes to me I think they may have found a subject that could prove them wrong.

So on Sunday we were out in our back yard trying to put our trellises together. They are made of cedar one by ones and chicken wire. Lets just say that I wasn’t using all my safety gear (shoes) and the wire and I got into it… the chicken wire won. It recoiled after I cut off a length and stabbed me right in the foot. I also have scratches on my arms that make me look like a mean cat owner.

Needless to say I wasn’t too worried at first, but then it swelled up to the size of about half a golf ball and I couldn’t even tie my shoes. We started thinking about infection and stuff when it turned a bit blue and red. I called my Mom yesterday and neither of us could remember when I’d had a tetanus shot last… thus the upside down snoopy bandaid.

Sean says we need to pad the inside of our house. Not sure I completely agree. Though I have to admit the ARC after hours clinic was AWESOME! Those people know how to run a clinic, a website, and they know their medicine! Well and they have cool snoopy baidaids. ;)
