Happy Valentine’s Day!!

I hope you all had a good weekend with someone special, a friend, family member or significant other. Someone you love!

As for us, we were just so glad to see sunshine and not need to be anywhere. Since I’ve had to quit taking my allergy medication until this coming Wednesday, when I have my allergy testing (no fun), I’ve been sneezing and miserable. It shows you how much a simple medication can make life so much better. Yea science! Anyway, due to sneezing and headaches I was glad to stay home all weekend with the hubby. We went to Central Market quickly to grab some weekend groceries and goodies. Sean was really excited about our King Cake.  Since we won’t really get to celebrate Mardi Gras this week, we brought a bit of it to us early. :)

As for today, we decided to work in our yard. The previous owners put this horrible red stone in the front yard and I wanted to just get rid of it. After some discussion Sean and I decided to recycle by using them to build our raised beds in the back yard. I wasn’t extremely helpful seeing as I sneezed every other minute. And the cold front blowing in with crazy amounts of wind and the temperature dropping in a matter of minutes didn’t help the process. We did get some of the front yard cleaned up and we started the bed in the back yard. Yea photos:

Anyway, we’ve got a ways to go, but it felt really good to get started. As for exchanging gifts… you all should know us well enough to know we don’t do that when its prescribed. However nice words and chocolate were found around our house all day. ;)

As for other news, well not too much. Sean’s still training away for the MS150 and I’m looking forward to my purchase. Purchase you ask… well you’ll have to wait and see. :)

Hugs to you all!
