*Phew* Sean has a job
I’ve been on the edge of my seat for months waiting to see what would happen, thankfully for us the wait is over. We’ve know for a little while about some of the things going on at Sean’s old company Luminary Micro but most of it didn’t come in to full light until this week, and since they’ve finally made some press releases we can talk about it. Yea! You know it’s hard for me to keep things quiet for too long.
So here’s the deal, Texas Instruments (TI) has acquired Luminary Micro and thankfully made an offer to many of the employees, meaning they not only wanted the technology but the employees as well. Sean is amongst those who will be going to work for TI and his first official day was today. His career with TI looks very bright and he’s excited about all the new projects he’ll be working on, he’s even bought some books to start studying up. I’m very proud of him for sticking it out and excited to see what the future brings.
Here are a few of the articles if you’d like to read more about it:

For now this sounds like it’s going to be a positive step in our future, but as always we’ll keep you updated. We’d also like to say we wish the best for those we know still looking for jobs, and hope the economy keeps heading in a positive direction.
