I really miss some people
Sean and I have some of the best friends in the world. They’re awesome!!! Though quite a few of our friends live other places and it gets a little sad when you can’t see them or talk to them as often as you would like.
For example, I was able to chat with my friend Jenny today who lives in Zurich. I haven’t had the chance to talk to her since she was in Texas seeing family over the winter holiday. She’s always got interesting things to say and can totally understand where I’m coming from. She also knows when to tell me I’m thinking to hard, which I do a lot and which some people have a hard time telling me that I’m doing.
It’s bitter sweet, as I’m truly glad and happy that she’s loving her life all the way over there and doing that is part of what makes her such an awesome person. I really wish she were here sometimes though and we could share some enchiladas at the Hula Hut, get things off our chests and then instead of hanging up a phone I could get a hug. I love Jenny hugs.
There are a few other friends out there like this, the kind that I get so excited to chat with, but I am always a little sad to say goodbye to when it’s time to get off the phone. They know who they are, if only by the fact that I keep them on the phone for way longer than they intended to talk to me when they called in the first place.
This is my shout out to let you all know how much I love you and truly appreciate you for being our friends. I love you even more for doing the things you do in your life and being in the world the way you are. I just sometimes wish teleportation was real and I could see you in person a bit more often.
Anyway, that’s my little gushy moment. Hope you’re all having a Happy Monday!
