* UPDATE 2/10/09* Photos Added

He He. I bet that got some attention. Sorry to break our mothers hearts but not our babies, our friends. For the last couple of weeks James and Melissa needed some help with the girls and we were able to help out. I’ve just got some darn cute photos of them painting, playing with chalk and going to the park. Just thought I’d share with everyone. You should also check out the video section as there’s a couple of new ones that are kind of adorable.

Favorite Things: Sundays

Sunday, January 18th, 2009

I have to admit that, since I’ve been in Austin with Sean, one of my favorite things has been Sundays. We get up a bit late, enjoy breakfast together (on the porch if we can), then Sean enjoys a nice bike ride and I go for a nice stroll, weather allowing. Today’s weather is perfect; sunny, clear, slight breeze, and about 72 degrees out.

After our daily exercise we then meet back at our place and have a lite late lunch an do our own tootling. Sean usually ends up checking out stuff on line and tinkering with computers. I end up finding a new recipe to try for dinner and playing with my sewing things and photography.

Early evening we start tinkering in the kitchen, put some goodies together for dinner or try the recipe that I have found. We eat and chat over dinner and then enjoy an evening stroll or chatting on the porch. Occasionally Sean’s sister will join us for dinner and we’ll play board games after. Either way it’s a nice end to a relaxing day.

Just thought I’d share.

Happy New Year!!!

Thursday, January 1st, 2009

Well it’s been an exciting couple of weeks for Sean and I. Saturday December 20th we drove to Waco, TX to my Aunt Barbara and Uncle Mickey’s home for Christmas with my Dad’s family. I made a lovely ham, with some delicious sides and Dad cooked up some beautiful shrimp. I was very excited about the shrimp as I can’t eat pork, I’ve got a stomach issue with that particular meat. Anyway, I believe everyone enjoyed the meal and we had a great time catching up. I hadn’t seen my Pawpaw or my cousin Thomas in a while and it was great to sit back and just enjoy each others company. We were also able to meet Vanessa, Thomas’ new girlfriend. She was lovely and has a great sense of humor, she added a lot to our Christmas get together. We were only able to spend the day together, but it felt good to start the Christmas week off with family.
