Sean and I thought we would make a quick post online here to let you all know we arrived in London safely. Unfortunatly we both have pink eye! Boo!
Though we got medication and have a cute little B & B we’re staying in so life isn’t all bad. We’re going to check out some sights and we’ll talk to you all real soon.
Don’t forget to check back for more updates.
Hooray, we’re married! We were excited to see everyone at the wedding. We had a lot of fun and all of the congratulations and words of support meant a lot to us. Everything went off without a hitch… except when Melissa’s veil caught on fire. We had hoped there would be wedding pictures to post today, but I think the photographer wanted to edit some of them before she sends them to us. So, in the near future, I promise, we will have all them available.
Well, we’re in the middle of packing for the honeymoon and this will be the last post for a little while… unless we can find an internet cafe. So, you should hear from me in a couple of weeks. Until then, thanks for everything.
Our list of things to do is getting much shorter. The wine has been bought, the beer chosen, the programs have been made, and the table decorations and favors are in the process of being made. We also took some cute photos down at the arboretum. You can check them out in this gallery. The only things left to do is to pack! Melissa will be gone for 8 weeks and I will be gone for 3 weeks. For all those readers at my work, I apologize for the long absence, but I need a good long vacation.
It also happens that tonight is the night of my wild and crazy bachelor party. I’ll let you know how it goes… it will most likely be… interesting. Those pictures will not be uploaded.
I can’t believe it… we’ll be married in two weeks. Boy has the time flown by. It seems like it was only last week that we were booking the place for the wedding. There’s still also so many things left to be done! Lanterns need to made, wedding favors still need to be delivered, and Melissa’s ring is still not ready. I’m finding myself stressed over all of the little details. Luckily, everyone who has gone through this before is reassuring me that everything will work out. I think as long as we can get the whole Canadian beer situation worked out, everything will be fine (It’s a long story). We both never thought we would be this busy before the wedding… With work and school, it feels like we left everything to the last minute. Well, maybe not “we”, just “me”.
We do want to invite all the readers who are in the Austin area to come to a farewell get-together at the Lamar Austin Java on Sunday the 10th of June from 5-8pm. It’ll be a pretty informal drop-in kind of thing… We just want to get a chance to see everyone before we leave.
Please feel free to leave any words of encouragement in the comments.
