Hey there to all! I know it’s been a few weeks since Sean or I have posted. I’m up to my eyeballs in school work, and Sean has been finishing a lot of details for the wedding. It has been a busy few weeks and unfortunately it will be a bit longer before the craziness ends. Though a great deal has happened in the past few weeks. Where to start…

I think just as spring break started is where I’ll start. Sean and I went home around the 10th of March to take care of some wedding details and because we were having two wedding showers. We got to have two! How cool is that. We had one on Saturday at the Lake Jackson Civic Center. My Mom’s friend Janie, Janie’s daughter Monica, and our neighbor Emma thew a great shower. We had good fun. It was nice to see some family and friends we hadn’t seen in a while. Then on Sunday we were excited to be going to another one. Sally’s friends Julie and Ann threw us a lovely shower at Julie’s home in Lake Jackson. We got to see more friends and Sean even told a few stories. Which for us is a little backwards (I usually have to tell the stories). It made for a great weekend.

Next was a meeting with and old friend. My good friend Allison from high school had driven in for my showers and we decided to I meet up with another friend, Grant, in Houston. We had some good laughs and took a stroll down memory lane (rather the Strand in Galveston, but close enough). Allison and Grant both ended up heading back to Austin to hang out here for a few days. We had some good food, took care of some girly bridal stuff, and played some board games. There was also one night that I had a little to much alcoholic beverage… but if you don’t know that story you’ll have to call for details. I’m still apologizing to Grant for things I don’t remember. Oh, the trouble I get into. It’s a good thing Sean loves me.

Then of course I posted about little Lily arriving. I don’t have any photo’s yet but as soon as I do I’ll post some. Though Sean’s sister Julie now shares her birthday, March 19th, with Lilly. Though this wasn’t just any birthday for Julie. It was her 21st birthday. We decided to throw her a little get together her at our place the Saturday after. They played some games and I made margaritas. Sean had Julie try a beer and I helped initiate her on the art of taking a shot. Everyone seemed to have a good time and no one got hurt. All in all, a good evening. Here’s a few photos from the evening.

Other then that we’ve just been up to our same old routine and hanging out with friends we we get the chance. To let you all know, I think Sean has updated the information for all those coming in from out of town on the wedding pages and we’re going to try and have some other pages on our attendants done by the end of the week.
